Pencil Sketch

Did this pencil Sketch after a very long time and i am glad with the result ....:-)

Interesting day !!!

It was the judgement day . The results for the short story / poem writing contest were to be announced yesterday by Ms. Lavanya Mohan , author of Chutney case . After all the mumbo jumbo I ve been thinking , to write for this contest , I came up with something decent enough – A New Leaf . As any boy would do , I was asking my friend sruti (the organizer of the contest) , how she would look like . She claimed her to be a natural beauty and that she doesn’t have her hair straightened . I was really glad to hear that , because I just hate that straightened hair look. So with hopes high , (not for the result but for her) , I was waiting in the hall with my friends . A strong – very strong , perfume odour filled the room and we all turned to the door to see her coming in . She was good . She had this bubbly bubbly kinda look . She looked more like a person with whom you would want to be friends with . Then , a formal introduction , and we all left the room for her to judge the entries...

A New Leaf

I know why you did this and I do know why you are still alive . I did a mistake. I knew you would want to do something like this, so I came to you . You did not respond and so I broke in and found you falling over. You reached for something that I could not see . I shouted your name, but you fell deep down inside you. You were then brought to this hospital . Did you seek death? I mean, you did, or else why would you have taken the pills? What I'm trying to ask is did you really want to die, or were you just trying to escape from something? You hid everything, you kept it a secret, but I read your thoughts. You cried a lot. The insults, the betrayal , the loss and everything. You told all of your friends that you didn’t care, but I saw it in your eyes. They have slowly been turning gray. I was the only one , you allowed to talk about it. Now, every time I try, you become stiff or try to push me away. I just wanted to help you. But you eventually forgot me. You also don't e...

Dying Ember

Lying down on the cold floor , Raja was staring at the moon lit sky through the holes in the straw ceiling of his old and damaged hut . Raja is 13 years old and had always been a very nice kid. He always scores the first mark in his class and is well -known in the slum for his good nature. This nature of his had earned him so many friends . He had inherited that from his parents who were always kind and never fought with any in that slum , where picking fights with others is a common thing . Not a single day passes without someone fighting . It may be for any reason , or not even one . His father Muthu works as a daily wager under a mason . The recent rains have left him with no job and so no money . This had made others working with him to steal. He was also asked to join them , but he had told them he would never steal . He was trying for a job for nearly a month, but in vain . His mother lakshmi , works as a maid in a nearby house . This had been the only source of income to the...

Ophiuchus and the Mayan Calendar

This is an article by Rush Allen I would like you to consider the September 11, 2001 WTC Disaster in New York City in light of the highlighted words that most people are in agreement with. We seem to be oblivious to the fact that events like the 9-11 WTC event do not happen without a transcendent dimension. The focus on the 2012 debate is another Westernized rationalization; what Jenkins says happens when "you translate a multidimensional, advanced, wholistic paradigm into a linear, materialistic, fragmented framework of understanding."  If you are going to properly develop the 2012 debate on your web site, I suggest that you begin to bring the transcendent dimension into the topic, otherwise, your site will simply become a philosophical library for words that do not carry any meaning.   I have applied the fundamental thesis of the Maya 2012 date, the Denderah Zodiac virgin birth, the pyramids of Egypt, and a direct correlation of the tomb artifacts of Tutankhamun to the 9...

Nostradmus and Ophiuchus

13=4=time and closure - the 4 rotating fan blade effect - the swastika, etc. Nostradmus worked with all 13 constellations when making astrological predictions which takes us to Ophiuchus (pronounced off-ee-YOO-cuss) - the 'Serpent Holder' - who is represented as a man with a snake coiled around his waist. He holds the head of the snake in his left hand and its tail in his right hand. This again takes us to the universal archetype of snake/serpent/reptilian signifying DNA and the human biogenetic experiment out of the Middle East, replete with extraterrestrial references.   Ophiuchus is one of the 88 known constellations and was also one of the 48 listed by Ptolemy. It is a large constellation located around the celestial equator between Aquila, Serpens and Hercules, northwest of the center of the Milky Way. The southern part lies between Scorpius to the west and Sagittarius to the east. Of the 13 zodiacal constellations (constellations that contain the Sun during the...

Ophiuchus: The 13th Zodiac Sign

Mythology There exist a number of theories as to whom the figure represents. The most recent interpretation is that the figure represents the healer Asclepius, who learned the secrets of keeping death at bay after observing one serpent bringing another healing herbs. To prevent the entire human race from becoming immortal under Asclepius' care, Zeus killed him with a bolt of lightning, but later placed his image in the heavens to honor his good works. It has also been noted that the constellation Ophiuchus is in close proximity in the sky to that of Sagittarius, which has at times been believed to represent Chiron (the mentor of Asclepius and many other Greek demigods), though Chiron was originally associated with the constellation Centaurus. Another possibility is that the figure represents the Trojan priest Laocoön, who was killed by a pair of sea serpents sent by the gods after he warned the Trojans not to accept the Trojan Horse. This event was also memorialized by the sc...
