The Power of Nature

Somewhere in the nooks and crannies of my brain, I know of the many wonderful things that Nature has in store. In the beats of my heart, the marrow of my bones, the globules of my blood, and the acid chains of my genes, I feel a kinship with the nature .I believe in the  total supremacy of her and have always tried to commune with  her forces .I sometimes let the wind guide me .Trees are one of the manifestation of Her that one can easily commune with.  I feel myself at home when standing in their shadows, when wending between their trunks proud and tall. I feel an ever-urgent urge to get lost amongst them, give them all a big old hug, and soak up their secrets and wisdom .my mind finds spirituality in nature .I realised and got to know more about them through Paulo Coelho’s books. The conversations between charac...

Windows Live Writer

I rarely find myself recommending a Microsoft product to people, but Windows Live Writer certainly bucks the trend here.  As a desktop application for blogging, it’s powerful, simple to use and set up. If you’re a blogger and you’re not convinced, here are 7 reasons why you should try out Windows Live Writer 2009. 1. Much faster than writing your post online Being a blogger for several years now, I’ve had the pleasure of trying out both the Blogger and Wordpress platforms with my websites – and while they were relatively easy to update, just like most web services at this point – I’ve always felt that they just lacked the speed and smoothness of a desktop application.  Windows Live Writer fills this gap by taking everything blog related offline.  Tasks like inserting pictures into posts, and previewing posts, which used to take time to load up online, now happen instantaneously.  Not only do you speed up your work, but you can take more time to play around and ...

Devi Cineplex – Awesome!!!

Last saturday i happened to see the class of the titans  in devi theatre with my friend Sathya .The movie was really good., pacca entertainer .Though the graphics was not as good as expected it was fine . Hades’ intro and the cg for him is the best and is really majestic .But the big “awe” factor was not the movie but the theatre as that was my first time in Devi . We saw the movie in a 10 Rs/- ticket which we booked in the net and was really amazed to find how good the experience was even at that ticket range ,which most other theatres do not provide you. Then we decided that we will think about sathyam or Inox only for 3-D movies .Such a nice comfortable experience for the rate of an empty DVD.,Awesome!!!

I was actually in an idea that i have mastered to control my anger and am calm always. But today ,proved me wrong .It was actually a very simple thing that i lost my temper for. Silly me! It took nearly an hour for me to get back to the normal state .How can a saggitarian be without a temper and that too with a tinge of extra hot spices in my blood , its quite hard for me to control it .Beware people …Dont try to irritate me and see hell  :-D . Ofcourse i will shower happiness on you after sometime when i realise its a simple issue .

The ancient Thamils lived in close touch with nature. Astronomy and astrology very much influenced their lives. With regard to the year, the Thamils started it with the Vernal Equinox. The Witch of Portobello

The Witch of Portobello is a a very unique and compelling tale. Part of what draws the reader in is the story itself and part is the very unique way it is written. Rather than a straight forward narrative, or a dialogue or even a series of letters this is a unique narrative technique. It is written as a series of first person accounts of individuals interactions with our unusual heroine Athena aka the Witch of Portobello. Athena's story is told as other's tell it, through their own words, and with all of their emotions, anger, support, respect or disgust.Athena is a young woman who tries to fill the spaces, the silences in her life. The more she tries to fill them the more dissatisfied she becomes. Until she learns that it is the silences between the notes that make the music so powerful. When she learns to embrace the silence, the spaces, she finds a power an energy. She becomes a spiritual leader, some see her as a saint and some see her as a sinner. She is both revered a...
