Avatar is a masterpiece

It was Terminator in the 1980's and then Titanic in the '90s and it's definitely Avatar in the 2000s!! James Cameron is my most favourite director and he has once again broken all boundaries and created a visual extravaganza. Avatar is Cameron's latest magnum opus is probably one of the most anticipated movies since Titanic and now it seems that the visionary director has indeed created a film that'll revolutionise the world of cinema. The movie is set in the year 2154 and is about a man called Jake who can't walk and he is selected in the Avatar program where he has to go to Pandora jungle which is not a planet but it is one of the three giant gasses that is about 4 light years away from earth. On Pandora there are life forms such as the navis that are about 10 feet tall have sparkly blue skin, big eyes and tails. The humans have genetically bred human-navi hybrids known as Avatars. Jake is able to walk but falls in love with a female navi and now he has to cho

Where the wild things are-Beautiful!!!

An adolescent named Max has an active imagination, and he will throw fits if others don't go along with what he wants. Max, following an incident with Claire (his sister) and her friends, and following a tantrum which he throws as a result of his Mother paying more attention to her boyfriend than to him - runs away from home. Wearing his wolf costume at the time, Max not only runs away physically, but runs toward a world in his imagination. This world, an ocean away, is inhabited by large wild beasts, including one named Carol who is much like Max himself in temperament. Instead of eating Max like they normally would with creatures of his type, the wild things befriend Max after he proclaims himself a king who can magically solve all their problems. All of Max's collected experience, and who he is as a person, and what he can see and understand around him in his family and surroundings, is represented in the bunch of Wild Things. All of Max, indeed, is split among all of them:

Paranormal Activity

Bloddy hell!!! This movie is totally freaky. It is the best thriller i've ever seen.It just freaks the shit out of ya.Right from the starting ,the problems that Micah and Katie faces are reallly thrilling. The footprints on the floor, the half burnt photo and those unusual noises , it really freaked me out.In some cases, blink, and you will miss something. Subliminal shocks are everywhere, so not only are your conscious senses attacked, your psyche is brutally terrorized. This makes, in one instance, viewing a completely empty room in dead silence for 30 seconds or more turn out to be one of the most horrifying scenes in the entire film. If you think about, just seeing an empty, silent room does not seem scary at all, but there-in lies the genius of this film: That something that simple can scare you down to the deepest core of emotion. If you've read any of the other reviews for 'Paranormal Activity', you will notice almost all of them mention that a viewer will not be

A magical Journey

Today i was actually very lucky . I was taken to yet another ride but this one truly scintillating and magical.I closed my eyes and you know what i felt like flying over the clouds . I could create a rainbow just like that , make pretty flowers blossom .The place was wonderful , so pleasant .There were magical creatures and i was surrounded by so many tiny fairies flying around me leaving sparkling dust all the way . I was walking in that place for quite a long time now and now there was a huge golden gate in front of me covered with plants.I went near it and it really glowed so brightly and opened up to reveal the beauty it had in store for me. But thats when my brother took the headphones off from my ears .Damn it... The music i was actually listening to , was simply awesome and it was a real magical journey .I've added those tracks here in my blog for you to listen.Enjoy!!!! http://www.filefactory.com/f/79ba69774595bf64/

A rollercoaster ride!!!

Finally i got what i desired.I ve been waiting for this for nearly a week.Getting ready for it, i sat back comfortably in my chair. For a moment it was silent and then a sudden rush of air....Oh God!It has begun. I was covered with mist which blinded my vision and i tried hard to see through it and i found myself dropped in the Era of demons. "Wind Scar" a ferocious voice shouted from behind .I turned to look back ,and found swirl of fire racing towards me and i just jumped to the side and after a few sec i heard a demonic voice yelling in pain. The mist got cleared and now i could see what was happening .There were four evil creatures standing right in front of me . "I'm gonna kill ya all".....shouted the man from behind . And there were continuous shots of wind scar , the backlash wave , sacred arrows , wind tunnel , hiraikotsu ,fox fire and finally it was all done.I was like a spirit roaming around in that battle field. I was really amazed .The four evil pow

We saved a life!!!

It happened just now.Just a few minutes back. My heart was pounding .I was not able to see the misery that it was undergoing .I think we (my mom,bro and me) felt more pain than it would have. I ve never experienced it before. My eyes started to fill with tears. We tried to somehow relieve it off its pain and after 5 long, really long minutes we did it.It was a black shark fish in our fish tank.My mom was trying to clean the tank . It was then, one among the 4 black sharks we had, got stuck in a hole in the net.It was trying to come out of it but couldnt. We all were shocked. We bought that when it was very tiny , now it is around 13 to 14 cms long. Its has been with us for more than 2 years .Finally we released it from the net by cutting the net with a scissor. It got itself relieved and swiftly moved around but the more tragic part is that it went down the tank and laid itself upside down.Oh God! We thought it was all over. But to all our surprise it moved again and started roaming the tank

I find it hard to convince me.

Generally i dont believe in anyone so easily. I try not to get anyone's help for my work. If anyone gives me an info i will ask about it with so many people and i try to confirm it myself in all possible ways before believing . And when there is no option except to believe in that person i seek my mind for help. That is when i experience a different feeling. I ve experienced this for many times now as i am left to judge and decide by me for many occasions. On the other hand taking decisions for my stuffs is very easy and i decide very cleary . When there is a problem concerning someone else and i am left to judge and give the final decision i find it very hard to accept anyone's verdict and it is now that i go for a very long conversation with my mind to give the final decision.I believe i am clairvoyant. And now i ve realised that IT IS REALLY HARD EVEN FOR ME AND FOR OTHERS TO CONVINCE ME. The image portrays the view to your inner self.

After a Long time!

Blogging after a very long time!!! Blimey! It feels great. Last assessment tests took my time off. After all the tests , end sem practicals now im free. My end sem exams are going on, but thats alright , there is plenty of time between two exams.I've done my exams well till now. Apart from all these exams and stuff now the thing that is bothering me, is what to get for my birthday.I had four options, 1. 2-gb RAM 2. Wrist watch 3. Shoes 4. something other than these. My system runs with a 512 mb ram and i am so sick of it.So was thinking about geeting a 2G ram.But i dropped it. Now, in a great confusion whether to get a watch or shoes. My mom says go for fastrack, and my brother wants me to get a branded shoe ( because he could use it). My Timex wrist watch is pretty old with so much scartches and my shoes are old too. Deciding that i would go for a watch i was surfing through fasttrack's website and you know what, It is not those watches that got my stares but the wallets they

Will it be the end?

Throughout the years, many people have predicted the end of the world, but perhaps the most notorious of these future seers is Nostradamus. Few psychics have had the degree of success at making predictions that we’ve seen from Nostradamus. He lived from 1503 to 1566 and historians and observers believe that approximately fifty percent of his predictions have already come true. Some of the most famous predictions that have come true are predictions about World War I and World War II, Hitler, Napoleon, and the atomic destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The current interest in the Nostradamus end of world predictions revolve around his predictions for massive unrest and trouble in the time between 2009 and 2012. When you combine this with the idea of the December 21, 2012 end-date of the Mayan Long Count Calendar, things become interesting indeed. In addition to this unrest, some believe that Nostradamus also predicted President Obama taking office. Nostradamus’ predictions are quite

LOTR Audio Book-Coming Soon!

“The Lord of the Rings” is the greatest trilogy, and it immortalized the name of its creator. It consists of three parts: “The Fellowship of the Ring”, “The Two Towers” and “The Return of the King”. The plot is based on the struggle for the Ring of Power, which was forged by Sauron, the Dark Lord, long long ago. The trilogy is a logical sequence of a no less famous fairy tale by Tolkien “The Hobbit” as well as the second part of the Red Book of Westmarch – the main chronicle of the Third Age of Middle-earth. “The Lord of the Rings” belongs to the genre of an epic, has many plots and a great number of main and secondary characters. For the Birds-Pixar

This is another short Film which i got amused with today.. To appreciate a small miracle like For the Birds, see it with children. Observe them as they watch, understand, empathize and laugh out loud to a quirky short with no dialogue. When a director can combine a visually joyful piece that is poignant as well as entertaining to anyone of any age, an Oscar is deserved. For the Birds ranks with its Oscar Winning predecessor Geri's Game as a tiny slice of genius. Bravo.

Geri's Game - Pixar's short film

Geri's Game' is a short, animated film by the geniuses at Pixar Animation, and it was screened in cinemas to precede 'A Bug's Life' . This short film borders on perfection. Absolutely no dialogue is spoken in the film, but it doesn't need to be. The simple plots concerns an old man named Geri who loves to play a high-stakes game of chess in the park. The only catch: He has nobody else to play with! This is a highly-enjoyable short. The music is beautifully fitting, and the animation is first-rate. The character of Geri (or, at least, one of his characters) is a very likable, bumbling old man. You can certainly see how Pixar earned themselves an Oscar with this short. Highly recommended.

While surfing thru i found these amazingly cute pics....Just wanna share withyou...Hope you too like these............!

Issac Newton - The Alchemist

Sir Isaac Newton, the famous seventeenth-century mathematician and scientist, though not generally known as an alchemist, practiced the art with a passion. Though he wrote over a million words on the subject, after his death in 1727, the Royal Society deemed that they were "not fit to be printed." The papers were rediscovered in the middle of the twentieth century and most scholars now concede that Newton was first an foremost an alchemist. It is also becoming obvious that the inspiration for Newton's laws of light and theory of gravity came from his alchemical work. If one looks carefully, in the light of alchemical knowledge, at the definitive biography, Sir Isaac Newton by J. W. V. Sullivan, it is quite easy to realize the alchemical theories from which he was working. Sir Arthur Eddington, in reviewing this book, says: "The science in which Newton seems to have been chiefly interested, and on which he spent most

Oculus

Have you read any books about ancient mystical architecture and the major role played by an oculus in many traditional rituals? Wonder what an oculus is? Well then! Here is a tiny bit of info about an oculus and some picture....... Oculus (plural oculi) is the Latin word for eye, and the word remains in use in certain contexts, as the name of the round opening in the top of the dome of the Pantheonin Rome, and in reference to other round windows and openings. The Oculus in the Pantheon has always been open to the weather, allowing rain to enter and fall to the floor, where it is carried away through drains. In the picture, right, sunlight streams through the opening and strikes the lower part of the dome. The bright opening and the surrounding smooth concrete above the coffering resembles an eye, giving the opening its name. Circular windows, a feature of Classical architecture since the sixteenth century are often denoted by their French name, oeil de boeuf, or "bull's-eye

Franklin's Magic Squares

Here's an amusing passage from Benjamin Franklin's autobiography: "Being one day in the country at the house of our common friend, the late learned Mr. Logan, he showed me a folio French book filled with magic squares, wrote, if I forget not, by one M. Frenicle [Bernard Frenicle de Bessy], in which, he said, the author had discovered great ingenuity and dexterity in the management of numbers; and, though several other foreigners had distinguished themselves in the same way, he did not recollect that any one Englishman had done anything of the kind remarkable. I said it was perhaps a mark of the good sense of our English mathematicians that they would not spend their time in things that were merely 'difficiles nugae', incapable of any useful application." Logan disagreed, pointing out that many of the math questions publically posed and answered in England were equally trifling and useless. After some further discussion about how things of this sort might perh

Jeova sanctus unus

One of the world’s greatest scientists. He was an alchemist, a member of the Royal Society of London, a Rosicrucian, and he signed some of his most secretive science papers with a pseudonym — ‘Jeova Sanctus Unus’ ! which means “One True God”. He signed his name that way because, like the ancient Adepts, he understood himself as divine. In addition, because the sixteen letters in Jeova Sanctus Unus could be rearranged to spell his name in Latin, making it a perfect pseudonym. Jeova Sanctus Unus is an anagram of a famous alchemist’s name in Latin. Latin interchanges the letters J for I and the letter V for U, which means Jeova Sanctus Unus can actually be perfectly rearranged to spell this man’s name. Isaacus Neutonuus. Newton’s name had always been a recurring guidepost for those seeking secret knowledge. Great man and a brilliant one indeed!!! A List of Prominent Pseudonyms [N.B. - née, nee (adj.) appears in American English both with and without the acute accent of its orig

Music: Couples Retreat - A.R.Rahman

The Hollywood movie "Couples Retreat" is set for release on October 9. The film stars Vince Vaughn, Kristen Bell, Faizon Love, and many more. "Couples Retreat" is a comedy that follows four couples who are all at a tropical resort, going through therapy sessions and learning about their relationships. With all these emotions, an exotic location, and a comedic tone, A.R. Rahman set out to compose the album’s soundtrack. With track titles like "Jason and Cynthia Suite" and "Tour of the Villas," it is understandable that the music has been composed to compliment the scene in which it will be placed, as Hollywood movies always do. With four couples from different walks of life, the soundtrack contains a wide range of instruments and music styles. A.R. Rahman not only shines on his classical Indian music selections, but the orchestra on "Jason and Cynthia Suite" and "Itinerary" is phenomenal! Songs like "Nana" and &qu

Nadya Suleman

Dan Brown's books-if u read them you get more curious about the facts he states. Now in his latest venture-The Lost Symbol-which deals with the masons and their mysteries is even more curious than all of em.Surfing through the net about the masons and their mysteries i came across the Nadya Suleman and her connection with the masonic rituals. So i just thought i could share some news about her.For more of Nadya suleman- Click here Nadya Denise Doud-Suleman Gutierrez, known as Octomom in the media, is an American woman who came to international attention when she gave birth to octuplets in January 2009.The Suleman octuplets are only the second full set of octuplets to be born alive in the United States and, one week after their birth, surpassed the previous worldwide survival rate for a complete set of octuplets set by the Chukwu octuplets in 1998. The circumstances of their high order multiple birth have led to controversy in the field of assisted reproductive technology as well as a

Exclusive: The Lost Symbol Audio Book,Ebook

Have you read anything by Dan Brown yet? If not, start with Angels & Demons or The Da Vinci Code . They are better thrillers. If you have already read Brown and enjoyed his previous books, you will probably enjoy The Lost Symbol . Robert Langdon's third adventure is another fast paced thriller that involves secrets in art, architecture and history. Brown does not break any new ground, but he does provide some good beach reading. Pros Brown's style keeps the pages turning as readers try to connect the dots. Symbols and mythology in a familiar setting provides a fun chance to toy with conspiracy theories. 'The Lost Symbol' does not require much effort to read. Cons A familiar formula & mediocre dialogue keep Brown from accomplishing anything new. 'The Lost Symbol' becomes tedious when it strays from plot and tries to make profound points. The "national security crisis," when revealed, falls short of the build up and character reactions.

300 - Graphic novel

300 is a great comic book story. The visuals here are some of Miller’s best. The story is rich and made even better by the fact that it is a true one. The savagery and dedication of the Spartan warriors is truly shown here as they lay down their lives for their country, their honor, and for glory. It seems to me that Frank Miller truly knows this story. It comes from the mind of a man that has held this story in his soul since he was a five year old boy seeing it for the first time on the silver screen. If you like Frank Miller’s work, do yourself a favor and check out this comic. Download Link
